 Commax DRC‑40K (Outdoor Door Camera)

• Color CMOS camera with illumination sensor and white LEDs, for clear visitor visibility day or night 

• Wall-mountable, surface-installed, weather‑resistant (–10 °C to +50 °C) .

• Operates on 12 V DC power supplied via the monitor, with 4‑wire video audio connection and 2-wire door release interface 

• Field of view: approximately 75° horizontal × 55° vertical 

• Dimensions: 96 mm × 155 mm × 32 mm 

 Integration & Use Case

• The DRC‑40K connects directly to the CDV‑70QT via a 4‑wire cable (video/audio) and 12 V power; door strike control uses a 2‑wire line.

• Whenever someone presses the button, the indoor unit rings, shows video, and enables two‑way talk. You can also remotely unlock the door from the monitor or via mobile.

• With motion detection enabled, the CDV‑70QT captures and stores footage locally or onto the SD-card—and sends push notifications to your phone .
